History
Fullerton College is a proud Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) designated institution. This designation was established by Congress on September 27, 2007, to improve the availability and quality of postsecondary education programs to support low-income, first-generation Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) students.
The APIDA Resource Center, which celebrated its grand opening on October 30, 2024, is the first-ever APIDA-centered campus space in Fullerton College’s history. Check out this article to read more about this historic grand opening.
Fullerton College and the APIDA Amplified Team are grateful to be supported by the Federal AANAPISI grant and the California State AANHPI Student Achievement Program. These grants are housed in Fullerton College’s Ethnic Studies Department, under the guidance of the Department’s APIDA Studies content expertise. Visit the Ethnic Studies Department website.
